About

The Sten Bakker Foundation was founded in March 2024 with the aim of improving the quality and impact of youth conferences that simulate the United Nations.

We support Model United Nations (MUN) and similar initiatives by helping organizers and participants raise the standard of their conferences. This support can take the form of sharing knowledge, best practices, and expertise, as well as providing financial assistance where possible.

Our goal is to strengthen the educational value and overall experience of these events, making them more impactful, realistic, and accessible. By doing so, we hope to empower young people to better understand diplomacy, international cooperation, and global decision-making.
